Sunburnt Christmas Party - 25 December at Bondi Beach

17
Dec 2011
Christmas Day in Bondi can be amazing. The only draw back can be that there are so many people around the beach and practically zero places you are allowed to drink.

On Christmas Day there is a strict no-alcohol rule which is enforced with grinch-like seriousness by both police and council. If you bring alcohol it will be confiscated. And you can be fined. Yup, even on Christmas Day.

There is a hassle free way to party on Christmas Day in Bondi thanks to the good folks who put on Sunburnt Christmas Party each year.

What to expect:  Over 18 International & Local Artists 2 Stages: Sollarium Main Stage & Propaganda Indie Stage,   The Bondi VIP Balcony Experience, Wet T-Shirt Competition,   Heaps of competitions and giveaways, and there's an Aussie BBQ Lunch included with every ticket. Drink Specials between 12pm & 3pm.

The line-up includes TImmy Tumpet, Helena, Bombs Away, Shipwreck, Johnny B, Felipe Cintra, The Postman, Urby.  and more.

Where: Bondi Pavilion

When: Christmas Day, 25 December 12pm - 10pm (drink specials between 12 noon and 3pm)

Tickets: $54 including booking fee, or $74 for a VIP ticket (includes VIP BBQ lunch, access to VIP Bar & Balcony).

BONDI DREAMING Now Showing Nov 9 - Dec 3 at Bondi Pavilion

15
Nov 2011

Bondi Dreaming opened this week at the Bondi Pavilion to a full house of excited theatre goers. Bondi Dreaming has received fantastic reviews, with some claiming it an Australian Masterpiece. Tickets are available from the Tamarama Rock Surfers website here

The play’s three characters are fictional but represent the Bali Nine and other Australians facing similar fates in foreign jails. At twenty-one years old with money troubles and the naivety of youth they choose a quick fix option of trying to traffic drugs out of Asia. They are caught and sentenced to death. The play takes place in their last days as they prepare for their fate. As a means of escape and also a way to come to terms with their guilt the men re-enact their past and what might have been their future.

Not just a great play, Bondi Dreaming is a ticket into suburban Australian culture. The play is all Aussie, from its footy boots to its love of roast chook.

Ticket prices: $33 Adults, $25 concession, $21 Tuesdays and $15 children (not suitable for children under 16)

Showing: Tuesday to Saturday, November 9 to December 3rd 2011
