Five things to explore in Bondi on a Rainy Day...
We’ve discovered Bondi isn’t just a (super amazing) beach. There are plenty of things to do in Bondi even when it's raining outside. Some of Bondi's hidden treasures can be found when you look beyond the sun and surf. What will you get up to this week?

Things to do in Bondi when it’s raining:
1. Cosy up with pre-drinks at the bar, and then theatre inside Bondi Pavilion. Check out what's on here.
2. Curl up with a book inside Gertrude and Alice bookstore on Hall St, or one of the many cafes around town.
3. Warm up with African drumming and dance classes.
4. Get zen about the weather with a yoga class.
5. Take a surfing lesson - you’re going to get wet anyway!
Or dance....

The Bondi to Bronte Coastal Walk
There is nothing in the world quite like the coastal walk from Bondi Beach to Bronte. The spectacular cliff tops, glorious beaches and crisp salty air have been know to inspire, relax and delight travelers from across the globe. Locals love it too!
The Bondi to Bronte Coastal Walk
The walk begins at the north end of Bondi Beach at Ben Buckler Point. You can also join just on the footpath at the South side of Bondi (near Icebergs). It covers the headlands and bays of Bondi, Tamarama and Bronte Beaches with a cliff-top path from Bondi to Tamarama. The walk is 4km and takes around an hour and a half, depending on your speed.

You’ll pass through Mackenzies point, down to Tamarama and wind up at the scenic (perhaps more beautiful cemetry in the world?) Waverley Cemetery.
From Waverley Cemetery you can walk another hour and wind up at Coogee Beach.
Weird facts: Tamarama was once home to a theme park with mini-railway along the cliff top. Lots of Australian films are shot at the Waverley cemetery. It's an operating cemetery and you can still buy lots there.
What to pack: Super comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, hat, swimmers and a towel (if you want to jump in at one of the beaches along the way), and a camera.
